This site is built to the HTML 4.01 standard so as to be compliant with the vast majority of web browsers. We have tested pages for compliance and you will see the ‘W3C’ logo on those pages.
There is one unfortunate exception. Where we have included informative clips from ‘YouTube’ or other video sources then the web page frequently fails validation because of those links. There is nothing we can do about it as the code is supplied by YouTube or other sites. The rest of the page is fully compliant though.
